The Dark Room has racked up sold-out Edinburgh Fringes, become an actual videogame and appeared at Insomnia Gaming Festival, Soho Theatre, PAX Australia, EGX, 21Soho, UK Games Expo, BlueDot, Melbourne Comedy Festival and on the global front page of the streaming platform Twitch.
 
John Romero is considered to be the "father of first-person shooters" having led the design and contributed to the programming and audio design of the iconic and genre-defining games Wolfenstein 3D, DOOM, Quake, Heretic and Hexen, and his products have won well over 100 awards.  His memoir DOOM Guy was launched in July 2023 to critical acclaim. Brenda Romero is a BAFTA award-winning game designer, artist and Fulbright recipient. She has worked on over 50 games, including seminal titles in the Wizardry, Ghost Recon and Dungeons & Dragons franchises.
