Beastie Fest 2: Wakefield Blues & Rock Festival

Beastie Fest 2 brings together some of the UK’s finest blues and rock talent for a day of electrifying live music in tribute to two much-loved trailblazers of the local music community, Steve Beastie and Matt Long.

Steve Beastie was far more than a radio presenter - he was a passionate champion of live music and a true friend to musicians, promoters and music lovers everywhere. Matt Long was a truly exceptional musician, a brilliant guitarist and one of the brightest talents the British blues scene has produced.

Doors open at 12.30pm with live music from 1pm.

General Admission - Evening Only: £20 (Entry from 6pm onwards)

*Registered Carer tickets are only valid when attending with a fully paying adult and accompanied by acceptable proof of carer identification. We accept all photo ID carer cards such as Access Card +1, National Carers ID, CEA Card and Local Authority Carer ID Card. If you bring a PIP letter, DLA letter, Attendance allowance award letter, GP Letter, social worker support letter, or carer registration letter, then please also bring along a proof of photo ID. Failure to provide acceptable proof of carer identification at the event will result in refusal of entry.
